- Shifts: Day Shift: Monday to Friday 7am - 3:15pm | Backshift 3:00pm - 1:15am
About the Role: Operation of ITW Gema powder coating system within paint shop to spray parts in accordance with and to the satisfaction of the company/Industry requirements, standards, procedures, timescales and expectations.

Key Responsibilities: - Selection of correct paint for job.
- Selection of correct oven temperatures and track speeds.
- Setting up equipment.
- Control of pre-treatment to clean and treat parts.
- Ensuring correct preparation of parts before painting and how they are placed on line.
- Understanding powder paint properties.
- Understanding coating defects, their causes and how to rectify.
- Carrying out quality checks on coating finish, including DFT & Gloss readings.
- Carrying out stock checks of paints and recording on system.
- Recording details of painted parts and results of quality checks.
- Maintaining equipment, ensuring all equipment is cleaned after use.
- To carry out any other reasonable duties as requested commensurate with your skills, knowledge and ability in the interests of the Company
Requirements: - Skilled powder painter with ITW Gema system experience required.
- Good knowledge of powder paint process.
- Reliable with good time keeping and attendance.
- Willing to work overtime as and when required.
